I’ve just been notified that I have received a Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching.  I’m so excited! This means that I get to go back to India in 2016 to research a project with Art Educators in India.  I can’t even really take it all in yet!  It was a big process that all begin with a long application, writing pages about myself, what I believed about teaching, and how I would implement my project when I got back from India.  After I made it through the first cut, I waited some more.  And in early March I had a brief interview with a representative.  it’s been a long 6 weeks after that phone call.

I am so honored….and so excited!
