I’m a painter and MFA candidate at George Mason University.  The mingling of places I’ve called home has impacted my exploration of symbols and language. My work challenges the viewer to think about the nature of language, symbols, and meaning. I use my own unintelligible writing to simultaneously deny transfer of information and invite the viewer to create new meaning.

The invented writing comes out of a meditation practice. Pattern like a mantra
