Final two days of the “Invocations” art show. Head out to Reston Community Center at Lake Anne before we have to take it down. It’s been a lovely show and great experience. So glad it came together over the summer. Can’t wait to get back out there with some more new work in different locations. Where should I show next?
I made this piece on paper that one of my psychology professors gave me when I graduated from college. I still like this piece a lot and it reminds me of that time. I actually made this piece a few weeks after I graduated. Even though I don’t really use this pattern/script anymore I still feel connected to this piece. How does art evoke a feeling of nostalgia for you?
And if you get it, don’t forget to donate too!
Just in case you wanted to know what I was up to this weekend:
Since the school year has already started I thought I would begin again on this blog. This summer flew by and I didn’t have a chance to work on it, change the look or even write. My hope is that I can update it regularly so you can follow along on my process.
In the works right now I’ve started a bunch of small paintings and hope to have a few ready for view soon. Thanks for checking in and I’ll be back really soon with some more work.
Enjoy the last few weeks of summer! This was mine in a nutshell:
I’ll be presenting at the first annual National Kid Yoga Conference in September. Check it out!
Just trying to get some additional work done before the 28th of this month.
This just in, I’ll be participating in a group show next month!
